REUSE WHAT YOU HAVE

Start with what works.
Do not buy it twice.

Firewoof adds AI safety to your current surveillance setup instead of asking you to replace everything first.

01

Existing cameras

Reuse supported network cameras or feeds from the recorder already installed at your site.

02

An old Windows PC

Install Firewoof HOST. It checks the computer and recommends a suitable camera capacity for that hardware.

03

Your current network

Connect the PC and cameras to the same router or site network so the HOST can discover them.

3 STEPS, NO TECH JARGON

Installation stays simple.
The owner takes over on mobile.

ON SITE Installer

Only three actions

  1. 01
    Run the installer

Install Firewoof HOST on the prepared Windows computer.

  2. 02
    Wait for automatic discovery

The HOST starts and searches for cameras on the same network.

  3. 03
Hand the pairing screen to the owner

Share the QR Code or the 6-character activation code shown on screen.

No installer login, no owner account setup, and no payment decision on the HOST.

PHONE Owner

Pair with your own account

  1. 01
Download the app and sign in

Owner identity and site management stay on the owner's phone.

  2. 02
    Scan or enter the code

Scan the HOST QR Code or type the 6-character activation code.

  3. 03
    Confirm protection is ready

Finish after the HOST, cameras, and phone notifications are all ready.

QR Code and manual entry complete the same secure pairing flow.

BEFORE YOU START

Prepare these
five things.

Most sites already have them. You do not need to purchase a complete replacement system.

  • A Windows PC that can stay powered onAn old PC is fine to assess; Firewoof checks its capability.
  • Powered, connected camerasKeep the cameras or recorder online during setup.
  • The same router or site networkThe HOST discovers cameras on the local site network.
  • The owner's phone and Firewoof appUse them for pairing and phone notifications.
  • Camera credentials, only if requestedDo not enter them first; add them only when discovery asks.

CAMERA NOT FOUND?

Try four simple checks
before calling a technician.

Most discovery problems can be solved without advanced network settings.

  1. 01
    Check camera power

Confirm its power indicator and wired or wireless connection.

  2. 02
    Confirm the same router

The camera and HOST PC need to be on the same router or site network.

  3. 03
    Select “Scan again”

A retry looks for missing devices without restarting the full setup.

  4. 04
    Enter credentials when prompted

If a camera uses a custom password, add it after the scan requests it.
